Ten Feet Tall

A blog about running, training, competing, being strong, and eating right. It gives an insight into the life of a runner who started late in life, with all the fun and joy running brings, but also the worries, injuries, and challenges. I hope to inspire those who would like to start. It's never too late. Just get out and get going. In no time you will feel: (yes, indeed) ten feet tall!

Om meg

Bildet mitt
Pinar Heggernes
I am a 49 year-old female who lives in Bergen, Norway. I started running and competing seriously in 2014, and it has given me so much fun and so many new experiences that I decided to share these via this blog. If you are in a similar situation, you might find some useful information about training, injuries, equipment, food and nutrition, etc. If you are thinking about getting started, I hope this will inspire you to get going. You will not regret it!
